My name is Michelle Hutchings, founder of Harmony Learning. For over fourteen years, I have operated Harmony Preschool, an on-site preschool in Meridian, Idaho. In 2020, our school expanded to include a virtual option, called Harmony at Home. I welcome you to our website and to this blog!
Before I start posting, I thought maybe I should introduce myself.
I am married to one amazing man and have four children and two sons-in-law. I have also graduated to being a grandma this summer and it is just the best.
I have a very loveable dog named Sparky. He receives a lot of attention at our home.
I still drive a minivan even though we only have our youngest left at home and she is in high school. It is just so darn functional.
I love to read during my downtime.
I love cherry-dipped chocolate ice cream cones and chocolate-dipped strawberries.
I am currently very interested in studying how to teach children about self-awareness as a tool for emotional regulation. I look forward to incorporating this into both my curriculum and blogs this year.
I have worked as an early childhood education teacher for seventeen years, have taught hundreds of children, and have sincerely loved every minute of it!
